Kokeshi Lanterns Painting Experience

Painting on a 30cm white Kokeshi lanterns. You will create your own “My Kokeshi Lantern”, the only one in the world.
The kokeshi lanterns are made in the shape of the Tsugaru kokeshi, a traditional craft of Tsugaru, using the techniques of Neputa and lanterns, which are representative festivals of Aomori Prefecture. The lanterns are made by attaching Japanese paper to a wooden and wire frame and then painting the face and body of the lantern with the design of your choice.
Visitors will experience painting with Yuichi Mori, a kokeshi lantern craftsman.

在白底30cm大小的木介子燈籠上進行繪畫。 製作一個世界上屬於自己唯一的“My木介子燈籠”。木介子燈籠是利用青森縣代表性的“睡魔祭”和燈籠的技法，以津輕傳統工藝品“津輕木介子”的形狀為主題的燈籠。 用木頭和鐵絲製作的骨架上貼上和紙，並在臉部和身體上繪畫自己喜歡的圖案。與木介子燈籠工匠森勇一先生一起體驗燈籠繪畫。

白地の30㎝サイズの光るこけし灯ろうに絵付けを行う体験です。こけし灯ろうは、青森県の代表的なまつりである、ねぷたと提灯の技法を生かした、津軽の伝統工芸品「津軽こけし」の形をモチーフにした灯ろうです。木と針金で骨組みしたものに和紙を貼った無地の灯ろうに、自分の手で顔や胴体に絵柄を描いて作ります。こけし灯ろう工人の森勇一氏と一緒に絵付け体験をします。
